I’m Emilie
I’m a Sydney based brand designer, illustrator, and founder of EMCO Design, helping owners of lifestyle-led businesses create brands that feel fresh, confident, and unmistakably their own.

Warm coffee in oversized mugs, colour palettes that make your heart skip a beat, and transforming out of date brands into cohesive, intentional identities that feel refined, aligned, and effortlessly professional.
But let’s be honest… I didn’t start here with brand work that lights me up.
In fact just 5 years ago you’d have found me sitting at a desk staring at a blinking cursor at one of the biggest corporate companies in Australia.
On paper, it looked like I’d made it.
But behind the corporate briefs and polished presentations, I felt the pull for something more. I didn’t just want to execute projects, I wanted to create brands with soul. Brands that felt human, intentional, and with a splash of personality.
So while working full-time, I started something small on the side.
An Etsy shop.
I began designing templates. First in Microsoft (humble beginnings), then in Canva, helping small business owners show up online looking polished without the overwhelm. I’d work late at night after everything else was done, refining layouts and listing products, feeling more lit up than I had all day.
And that’s when it clicked.
It wasn’t just about design.
It was about confidence.
It was about giving entrepreneurs tools and branding that helped them feel legitimate, aligned, and ready.
That little side project slowly became something bigger.
And EMCO Design was born.
Now, my studio is where strategy and timeless design meets personality. I get to work closely with lifestyle-led businesses to craft cohesive, considered brands that feel like an extension of who they are - not something pieced together.
And honestly? There’s nothing better than watching someone step into their brand with clarity and confidence.
