I Made You a Mix Tape
As Valentine’s Day begins to peak its head around the corner once again, EMCO Design felt that it was time to do the classic mix tape propperwith a fancy envelope and card for you to give your sweetie on Feb 14th, or any day that you want to share your mix. The instructions are pretty easy, click here for the Mix Tape PDF. Then, follow the enclosed instructions:
CARD INSTRUCTIONS:
PRINT ON HEAVY CARD STOCK PAPER.
CUT CARD AT GUIDE LINES AND FOLD IN HALF.
WRITE SOMETHING SWEET OR WITTY INSIDE THE CARD.
FOR BONUS POINTS, MAKE A LEGAL “BACK UP” DISC OF SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE SONGS. TO GET STARTED, I RECOMEND “ISLANDS IN THE STREAM” BY DOLLY PARTON & KENNY ROGERS.
FOR EXTRA BONUS POINTS, HOLD UP A BOOM BOX PLAYING YOUR MIX TAPE OUTSIDE OF YOUR THE MIXEE’S HOUSE, APARTMENT, ETC. ENJOY!
ENVELOPE INSTRUCTIONS:
PRINT ENVELOPE PAGE ON STANDARD COMPUTER PAPER.
PLACE CARD AND OPTIONAL CD IN CENTER OF THE SQUARE
(ON THE BACK SIDE.)
FOLD THE SIDES OF THE PAPER OVER THE TOP OF THE CONTENTS.
FOLD THE BOTTOM OF THE PAPER OVER THE SIDE FLAPS.
FOR AN EXTRA COOL EFFECT, USE SCISORS. CUT OUT THE ENVELOPE AND TAPE THE FLAPS TOGETHER. IT’S UP TO YOU, YOU’VE ALREADY MADE A MIXTAPE., WHICH BY NO MEANS NEEDS THE HELP OF SCISSORS AND TAPE TO BE AWESOME.

This is amazing. Great work on the design and the instructions! One question, though: if I do not have a suitcase-sized boombox handy, could I also print that out on heavy card stock paper to complete the effect?

I will get to working on the boom box. Thanks for the support.
